"World pressure is nothing but the collective pressure of pressured people."
This lecture, recorded in Los Angeles on September 13, 1964, underscores a theme Mr. Hall spoke about constantly throughout his career - namely, that all the troubles in our lives and in the world are actually problems with ourselves. If we can solve our own problems and reduce our personal stress, the problems and stresses of the world will also decrease. Many believe that the opposite is true, but Manly Hall insisted that the flow goes from the inner to the outer.
