Project MKUltra was an unauthorized program led by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to explore ways to influence people's minds. The aim was to find methods and drugs that could make individuals more suggestible or force them to confess during questioning. This involved techniques that would weaken their mental resistance through brainwashing and intense mental pressure. The project started in 1953 and ended in 1973. MKUltra tested various ways to change a person's mental state, like giving them strong hallucinogen drugs without their knowledge, shocking them with electricity, using hypnosis, keeping them isolated, or subjecting them to verbal or even s3xu@l abuse.
