Between Sam Smith and Kim Petras at the Grammys, Lil Nas X’s Montero video, and Little Demon on FX, it seems like the devil is becoming more popular than God in pop culture. Ben Shapiro, Fox News, Allie B Stuckey and others suggest that real evil forces are to blame. Others think a rise in the Romantic Era view of Satan is responsible. I think there’s more to the story.
