Manly P. Hall: How Far Can We Trust Ourselves and Others?

This previously unreleased lecture was delivered by Manly P. Hall at the Campus Theater in Los Angeles on March 9, 1958. Around this time, pop psychology was gaining popularity in the public consciousness, and much of his work in the late 1950s and throughout the 1960s centered around the topic of self-help.

While this is over 60 years old, the words are just as true and relevant today, perhaps even more so. He puts emphasis on the importance of being honest with ourselves before we can expect others to be honest with us. Mr. Hall also warns against self-imposed 'victimhood' by demanding that everyone else should understand the world from exactly your point of view and opinion.
