This lecture was given by Manly P. Hall in Los Angeles on May 6, 1956, one of the oldest audio recordings available.
Although over 60 years old, the advice and wisdom in this talk are just as relevant today, perhaps even more so. The principles of which he spoke are timeless and are very much needed in every day and age, particularly this one.
17:00 Scholasticism: “Iron frame of mental limitation”
36:00 Greatness is always the individual transcending his own training. If he is able to take what he has learned and put it together in a new pattern by creativity within himself, then, he becomes a leader.
39:00 Limitations of Experience:
Experiences are so personal we seldom handle them impersonally.
